It truly is quite tasty! Last week, Tasty Tuesday was a delectable vegetarian lasagna. This week, I thought it would be nice to lighten things up with a luscious turmeric smoothie. No face-making until you actually taste it! You will definitely be surprised! And, although not low in calories, this smoothie is so yummy and satisfying that it’s terrific as a breakfast replacement drink.

Combine in your favorite blender: 2 cups coconut milk 1 cup frozen mango chunks 2 fresh bananas 1 1/2 tsp. turmeric 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. ginger 1 cup water
It’s always hard for me to stop at one glass of this heavenly drink, but the calorie content — mainly due to the coconut milk — always brings my mind back to a reality check. I love it as a breakfast replacement though, especially because of the many nutritional benefits of turmeric.
