We Need One! In fact, we need a few snow days. We had a lot of rain this past week. Great gusts of wind, too. In fact, so gusty a thirty foot tree fell on our neighbors’ house. Fortunately, it did not hit any power lines, penetrate the ceiling, or hurt any person or wildlife.

The area where we live is often quite dry and the moisture that filled the air these past few days was a welcome friend. But we need snow! Lots and lots of snow! We don’t always see a lot at our elevation – 2,500 feet – but, it sure would be nice to see snow-covered mountains again. Alas, the forecast is sunny through the weekend.
